coucou! i'm theresa, one of the faces behind thia yoga collective.

my yoga journey began in 2017 when I moved to london with my partner. at that time, i was looking for a new hobby. back then i didn’t have an opinion about yoga, and honestly, i just wanted to incorporate more exercise into my routine. however, yoga seemed to be the perfect fit for me.

looking back, i remember not immediately enjoying the first yoga classes.i had to push myself to go to the studio repeatedly. but eventually, I had that magical moment when i knew yoga had become a significant part of my life.

due to covid and other relocations, it took longer than i wished to complete my 200-hour training. in december 2023, i finally completed my vinyasa & hatha training with simone hart at yoga room in brussels.

my classes are designed to be fluid and playful, inspired by the idea of a dance that allows you to completely disconnect and be with yourself. i emphasise diversity and individuality, always considering various modifications and variations to cater to participants of all experience levels.

i focus on creating a balanced mix of challenge and growth in my flows and exercises. the goal is for you to feel challenged without experiencing frustration, expanding your comfort zone with the right balance. this approach helps build not only physical strength but also mental resilience.

music is a significant part of my life and is integrated into my classes. i love curating playlists and discovering new artists. drawing from my own experiences, especially in dealing with fears and self-esteem, i aim to create a space in my classes where trust in one's own strength can develop.

the combination of movement and conscious breathing not only enhances physical flexibility but also promotes emotional resilience and self-awareness. i can’t wait for you to experience this.

 'come as you are '

hi, i’m sophia, a curious movement enthusiast and one of the founders of thia yoga collective.

more than 12 years ago, i discovered the transformative world of yoga for myself and have since explored a variety of yoga styles, always on the lookout for new sources of inspiration. In 2020, i fulfilled my long-held wish and completed the 200 hour yoga teacher training at ONE yoga in vienna. that was just the beginning of my learning journey though. in addition to attending yoga festivals and numerous yoga and breathwork workshops, I completed another 60 hour training with adell bridges and celest pereira, focusing on yoga with an emphasis on functional neurology. this training was a game changer and i have become slightly obsessed with brain hacks to improve mobility, flexibility and feel better in my body.

my yoga journey is characterised by the joy of trying and integrating new things. whether it's wild dancing to loud music, free flow movement, or animal flow, I love losing myself in motion and exploring new movement patterns. i love being up in the air with aerial silk, on the monkey bars, or bouldering, while also appreciating the groundedness and tranquility of hiking.

i find pure joy in moving playfully and exploring unconventional movement patterns. my passion for various movement arts is reflected in my yoga classes. i integrate elements from mobility training, free movement, and animal flow, using creative sequencing and neuro hacks with curated playlists to create a diverse and dynamic experience.

yoga is more than just a physical practice for me. it is the connection of breath, mindfulness, meditation and movement. the goal in my classes is to create an atmosphere where every.one has the opportunity to dis.connect and arrive in the present moment. losing oneself in the moment, in movement, without perceiving the external world – for me, this is one of the most beautiful and valuable experiences that I would love to share with YOU.

i invite you to join me on this journey towards inner harmony and joy of movement, exploring new movement patterns together.
